Cyclopropane is een cycloalkaan dat bestaat uit drie koolstofatomen die een ring vormen. Het heeft een functie als inademingsanestheticum. Cyclopropane is een kleurloos gas met een petroleumachtige geur. Het wordt vervoerd als vloeistof bij 4-6 atm. Het is gemakkelijk ontvlambaar.
